| 2006-2010 CFMoto CF250T-3 V3 | |
|---|---|
| Performance | |
| It's a 250cc with an auto-clutch CVT. One and a half stars is more than generous. | |
| Handling | |
| Light weight and low center of gravity are pluses, swinging crankcase provides horrific unsprung weight out back. Still, it's probably better than most scooters...although that's not saying much. | |
| Looks | |
| Some readers will be shocked, but I give CFMoto credit for being daring, different and fun. Tacky details cost it a half point. (Its fakey/derivative V5 stablemate would get zero stars.) | |
| Reliability | |
| CFMoto is among the better Chinese brands. | |
| Practicality | |
| All the advantages—and disadvantages—of a scooter. | |
| Desirability | |
| Cool, but only in a goofy, 'but-not-for-myself' kind of way. | |
| Overall | |
|---|---|
| A low effort/low return road appliance. Funky enough to make me smile, but too chintzy and low-grade to ever spend money on. | |

I ride one and love it! Handles like a sport bike but has the ride comfort of a heavier cruiser. Judging the fuel gauge compared to my GPS I am getting about 65-70MPG. It has plenty of power for a 250cc and great looks. Some people don’t wan’t an automatic. I like it. To each their own I guess. NOT chintzy by any means. This is the only company that has imported a bike that can almost compares to a Japan bike. For the price, not bad at all. Would I buy one again? YES!
